    ATTENTION SENIORS   The senior longshot/ panoramic photo will be taken on Thursday, November 2nd at 7:40AM.  You  CANNOT  order this picture online, please stop by the main office to pick-up an order form.  Completed order forms and payment are due Thursday at the time of the photograph. 

Halloween and Veterans Day

  Halloween Fun Students at RHS will be allowed to wear a costume to school on Tuesday, October 31st. As a person who will always be a kid at heart, dressing up on Halloween is something I look forward to. To make this day fun and safe for everyone, please take the time to review the following guidelines with your student. 1) Masks/hoods that completely cover the face are not permitted. Hats, wigs, and simple make-up are fine. 2) Please leave all costume extras/props at home. It should go without saying, but this includes any toy weapon/contraband-inspired item. 3) Think safety first and fashion second. The students will have to be in these costumes all day. Overheating, tripping hazards, and bathroom accessibility need to be considered. Students are expected to participate in their classes. 4) The Yearbook class will host a costume contest. October 18th PLC Day

RE: PLC Day Wednesday, October 18th Hello Revere High School Families, On Wednesday, October 18th, we have a PLC Day scheduled. During the hour delay, we will host two important meetings: a mandatory Junior Class Meeting and a Senior/Parent University of Akron Internship Meeting. All other students do not need to report to their first-period class until 8:34. Doors will open at 7:00 for all bus riders and drop-off students, and the cafeteria will be supervised until the start of the school day. Junior Class Meeting: The school counselors will prepare our Juniors for their upcoming counselor meetings. Students should bring their charged iPads to the auditorium as they will work within the Naviance program and take a career inventory survey. All CVCC students should attend CVCC as normal on Wednesday.   October 13, 2023 RE: Revere Schools Internship Program Meeting Dear Senior Families, We are incredibly excited about our internship program, to which we would like to invite your interested senior student to participate.  This opportunity involves our Revere High School Seniors, area businesses, and Akron University.   The structure of the program includes our students learning business soft skills and growing their professional leadership skills with the University of Akron College of Business, as well as further deepening their learning with area businesses through internship opportunities.   We will be hosting an informational meeting for parents on October 18, 2023 at 7:30 AM at Revere High School media center for families to learn more about these internship opportunities. Spirit Week Activities

  Spirit Wear Monday:  Groutfit (Wear All Grey) Tuesday:  Tropical vs. Winter Wednesday:  Soccer Moms vs BBQ Dads Thursday:  Beat Xopley “Mum” Day Who:  RHS Students- grades 9-12, OPTIONAL but encouraged.  What:  Students are encouraged to NOT speak throughout the entire school day leading up to the Fall Pep Assembly. RHS teachers are encouraged to not assign classwork that involves the use of students' voices, but teachers may approve speaking if necessary. We are attempting to create a lead-up to the end of the day assembly and anticipation of such, as well as create a lasting tradition for “Beat Copley” Spirit Week. PSAT Final Reminders

  Hi RHS Families! Just a few reminders before tomorrow's (October 4th) pSAT testing for grades 9-11: 1.) Get plenty of sleep and make sure to eat breakfast! 2.)  Charge your iPad tonight. 3.)  Bring ONLY your iPad and iPad charger  into your assigned testing room tomorrow. Please leave all other belongings  (including your cell phone and smartwatches)  in your locker. Teachers will have pencils, scrap paper, and individual test day tickets for each student.  *Please note that the the digital pSAT does provide a calculator on the testing app (Blue Book), however students are permitted to bring their own calculator if it is on this approved list:   Approved Calculator List pSAT 2023 4.) Important Futures Day Info

Futures Day October 4, 2023 Good morning, On October 4, 2023, Revere High School will host our annual Futures Day. The event's purpose is threefold: 1) to allow our seniors to explore post-secondary options, 2) to have our juniors, sophomores, and freshmen take the PSAT, and 3) to give our students a chance to connect with community members to learn about various careers.   Seniors: You are excused from Revere High School classes on October 4th. Use this time to explore colleges/universities, research internship/shadowing opportunities, and complete college applications. Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen: We will run a special schedule (see below). You must be in your Testing Rooms by 8:00 a.m. with a charged iPad.
