Revere High School-Counseling Department Handle with Care If your family is experiencing difficulties at home, we are here to help and support you with additional resources at school. We do understand that you are not always able to share the details of what you are experiencing, and that is okay. If you (RHS student) or your teen is coming to school after a difficult night, morning, weekend, or anytime in general; please email us (contact below) saying, “Handle with Care.” By doing this, we will know that you or your teen may need extra support throughout their day. We will communicate this message to your students’ teachers and other staff members who they typically see throughout the day.  There is nothing else that will be said or asked unless you wish to do so. This option is intended for occasional use, if there is a greater and more consistent need, we will work with you to define more in-depth support. The students have started to adjust to waking up early, attending their classes, and have hopefully had some fun along the way. From FroshFest, to opening day assemblies, detailed course syllabi, and Curriculum & Educators Nights, our staff’s hardwork and planning has paid off. The best way that we know of to continue to support our students is for our staff to have time to collaborate. In order to make this happen, we have scheduled 7 PLC (Professional Learning Community) dates throughout the year. Our first date is this Wednesday, September 15th. On these days, classes will not start until 8:34 and we will run a slightly modified schedule the rest of the day. During this hour, the staff will have the opportunity to work with their department members and develop the resources needed to bring quality instruction and a
