PSAT Final Reminders

 Hi RHS Families!


Just a few reminders before tomorrow's (October 4th) pSAT testing for grades 9-11:

1.) Get plenty of sleep and make sure to eat breakfast!

2.) Charge your iPad tonight.

3.) Bring ONLY your iPad and iPad charger into your assigned testing room tomorrow. Please leave all other belongings (including your cell phone and smartwatches) in your locker. Teachers will have pencils, scrap paper, and individual test day tickets for each student. 
*Please note that the the digital pSAT does provide a calculator on the testing app (Blue Book), however students are permitted to bring their own calculator if it is on this approved list: Approved Calculator List pSAT 2023

4.) For further information regarding the pSAT, please review the below helpful links for parents and students (previously emailed on 9/14):

 

PSAT/NMSQT-Information for Parents & Guardians

● 10th & 11th grade students: will take the PSAT NMSQT 

**Please note that 10th grade students are not eligible for the NMSQT. The NMSQT eligibility option is only available for 11tgh grade students.**

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
