PLC Day and Senior Sunrise Moved

Good afternoon, In observance of Yom Kippur, we are moving the Wednesday, October 5th, PLC Day, and Senior Sunrise to Thursday, October 6th. Additionally, we had a photographer scheduled to come in and take the Senior Class panoramic photo on the 5th. The 6th is unavailable, but we have rescheduled the Senior Class panoramic for Monday, October 10th, at 7:30 in the main gym. If you need, school picture retakes will also be available on Monday the 10th. I fully take ownership for this oversight of scheduling an event on an important holiday and ask forgiveness for any stress or inconvenience the original date or rescheduling has caused.  In summary: Regular School Day on Wednesday, October 5th New PLC Day and Senior Sunrise on Thursday, October 6th. Seniors must report for a mandatory class meeting in the auditorium at 7:34. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors must report to 1st period by 8:34. Senior Class Panoramic and Picture Retake on Monday, October 10th Respectfully, Andy Peltz

More Futures Day Speakers Needed

Thank you to the 30+ volunteers who are joining us for Futures Day on October 12th. In an effort to expose our students to a broader band of careers, we are grouping our volunteers into the various Career Clusters. Some career clusters have had more volunteers than others, and we could use a few more guests to round out the panels. If you or someone you know works in the fields of  Arts & Communication, Technology/Management in Business, Industrial/Engineering, or Natural Resources & Agriculture,  please consider volunteering your time. Please complete   this survey   by Friday, September 23rd, to indicate your interest in being a panelist at  Revere High School’s Futures Day.  If you have any additional questions about Futures Day, please contact Principal Andrew Peltz at   apeltz@revereschools.org   or Career Specialist Nancy Vondrak at   nvondrak@revereschools.org   or (330)523-3248.  Also, please feel free to share this information with anyone else whom you think may be int

RHS Futures Day

Do you love your job? Are you enthusiastic about sharing your career with others?  If so, you are cordially invited to participate in Revere High School’s annual Futures Day on Wednesday, October 12th.  On Futures Day, our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students learn about various careers to help them to start thinking about and planning for (you guessed it!) their futures! This year’s Futures Day has been revamped from the previous years’ format to expose students to a wider range of career options and be more interactive and engaging.  We are looking for volunteers to discuss their occupations in a panel discussion format. These volunteers would be part of a panel with other people who work in the same industry.  Each panelist will be asked to share what inspired them to go into that field, their interesting job experiences and participate in a Q & A session.  No formal presentation will be needed, although bringing visuals related to your job is always encouraged.   The day would
