Second Semester Class Meetings Scheduled

 Hello Revere High School,

The second semester may have officially started last week, but with the two calamity days, we are just now able to gain some steam moving forward. At the start of each semester, we need to take a moment to refocus and reestablish our goals and mission for the tasks ahead. We will be hosting some very important class meetings over the next ten days to make sure everyone is on the same page and on a path to success.

On Friday, Jan. 26th, we will have a Freshmen meeting in the auditorium during the second half of 2nd period (8:50 - 9:15) and a Junior meeting at the end of 7th period (2:10-2:37). We will be covering topics such as our new Artificial Intelligence policy, parking rules, course recommendations, end of course exams, ACT (juniors only), student handbook concerns, academic dishonesty, and volunteer hours.

Next Wednesday, Jan. 31st, during our PLC Late Start, all Sophomores and Seniors must report at normal time. For Sophomores, we will cover all the information discussed at the Freshmen and Junior meetings as well as prepare you for your upcoming counselor checks. Seniors, you will be covering all things internship, end-of-the-year activities (prom, graduation, caps/gowns, etc.), and most of the information covered in the other meetings. 

These meetings are MANDATORY, and attendance is required. Information from each meeting will be emailed out by February 1st.

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
