From closing the door when the hall is noisy to helping students with difficult math problems, Fuma takes an active role in helping the students and teacher on his own, without being prompted. Fuma is a blessing in my classroom. |

I am very proud of all of her hard work so far this season and can't wait to see her shine. I know memorization can be really tough when you're new to the Speech & Debate world, but Erika always brings a positive mindset to practices and shows up prepared and ready to learn. When encountering a difficult task or skill, he uses the tools provided to assist in finding answers. When errors occur, he strives to learn from the errors in order to improve his math skills. In addition, Devon is helpful to all in the class and always greets you with a smile. I am so thankful that he is part of my Algebra I class. |

The pair have consistently shown how dedicated and passionate they are about the team this year and while everyone else hadn't started practices yet, Adam and Dylan worked during the summer and into the start of the school year with our coaching staff to get ready for this season. Adam- thank you for being an excellent leader this year and for all of your time and effort spent working on debate. I am proud of you! |

Sam L | Mrs. D'Amico | Perseveres & Adapts | Sam experienced a major setback with his injury during his football season. However, he approached it with a resilient attitude. His role changed from being a key player on the field to a major supporter off the field . He was at all practices and games encouraging his teammates. Furthermore, he offered to tutor a teammate who needed help, which meant staying well after practice had ended.He definitely persevered through the season as well as adapted, in Minuteman fashion. |
