Aleks R	Mrs. Zustin	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Aleks has become such a great 3D artist thus far in 3D Art. Aleks continues to maximize his time in class with plentiful opportunities. He is willing to always try new things and shows resilience in art making. It has been a pleasure to have Aleks in class!
Izzy M	Mr. Dallas	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Izzy is a well-prepared and enthusiastic student. She is always asking questions and wants to know more about the topics we are discussing. She is a very personable student and is a pleasure to have in class.
Makayla T	Ms. Kobetitsch	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Kayla has done an outstanding job this year in math; she works hard in and outside of class to understand the material and complete all assignments. When unsure of the material, she will ask for clarification. I have witnessed much growth for Kayla in the area of math; her hard work has enabled her success. Nice work!
Jack G	Mrs. Toth	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Jack is willing to tackle any challenge and is a hard worker. He quietly perseveres on tasks until they are completed to the best of his ability. Jack is a great model for others and is eager to help others. Keep up the great work, Jack!
Leland W	Mrs Exten	Embodies Confidence & Empathy	Helped a student pick up their belongings after they tripped on the stairs.
Anden B	Mrs. Repp	Embodies Confidence & Empathy	During the first quarter, Anden has been a role model to his peers in geometry class. He is kind, respectful, and hard working. Anden is always polite and says hi to his classmates in the morning. It is a joy to have him in class. I hope he continues the great work!
Lou N	Mrs. Glowe	Engages with Purpose	Lou has come a long way and made great strides as far as attendance! He shows up to class on time and is here consistently. His grades also reflect that he has been proactive concerning his schoolwork and assignments. Lou is hard working and also holds a part time job outside of school. In addition, Lou is very respectful to myself and others. Way to go Lou!
Kerrigan S	Mrs. Repp	Engages with Purpose	Kerrigan is always actively engaged in geometry class. She willingly participates in class discussions. I appreciate her participation immensely. Many of her peers just sit back, but Kerrigan often takes the lead. Keep up the great work, Kerrigan!
Fuma K	Mrs. Gillette	Engages with Purpose	Fuma helps out in the classroom without being asked. He sees something that needs to be done, and he gets up does it. From closing the door when the hall is noisy to helping students with difficult math problems, Fuma takes an active role in helping the students and teacher on his own, without being prompted. Fuma is a blessing in my classroom.
Rachel T	Mrs. Gillette	Engages with Purpose	Rachel strives for excellence in the classroom and also helps struggling students to understand difficult math concepts. Rachel comes to class every day prepared with homework, even though it is not collected for a grade. She strives for complete understanding of the concepts. In addition, I can pair Rachel with any student who needs remediation, and Rachel offers thoughtful and helpful explanations. She is patient and caring. Rachel is an asset in my classroom.

Jolie "Rin" L	Mr. Silvidi	Engages with Purpose	Even though she is only a 9th grader, Rin is already establishing herself as a leader in Lantern. The quality of her work serves as an example for the other staff members to follow. I am so happy she is in that class!
John A	Mrs. Bowers	Perseveres & Adapts	John embodies a truly positive attitude. He perseveres in the face of challenges while adapting to new situations with enthusiasm. Keep up the great work, John! Its a pleasure to have you in class!
Kayla T	Mrs. Zustin	Perseveres & Adapts	Kayla has show so much growth in the classroom. She comes to class prepared and works hard everyday. She is purposeful and engaged in her art making skills. It has been exciting to see her growth from freshman to junior year in art class.
Izzy V	Mr. Schaefer	Perseveres & Adapts	Izzy has stuck with physical science and really improved throughout the year. She is taking the time to study and make sure she understands the material. The beginning of the year started out rough, but she has persevered throughout and really shown quite the improvement. Keep it up!
Erika B	Coach Steinker	Perseveres & Adapts	Erika is new to the Speech & Debate team and has worked incredibly hard to memorize her speech in time for the first tournament on November 4 at Perry High School. I am very proud of all of her hard work so far this season and can't wait to see her shine. I know memorization can be really tough when you're new to the Speech & Debate world, but Erika always brings a positive mindset to practices and shows up prepared and ready to learn. Thank you Erika for being an excellent new member!!
Devon O	Ms. Kobetitsch	Perseveres & Adapts	Devon is a conscientious student who works hard to learn the concepts presented in class. When encountering a difficult task or skill, he uses the tools provided to assist in finding answers. When errors occur, he strives to learn from the errors in order to improve his math skills. In addition, Devon is helpful to all in the class and always greets you with a smile. I am so thankful that he is part of my Algebra I class.
Adam S	Coach Steinker	Perseveres & Adapts	Adam and Dylan have competed at three National circuit tournaments this year and I am BEYOND proud of their hard work. The pair have consistently shown how dedicated and passionate they are about the team this year and while everyone else hadn't started practices yet, Adam and Dylan worked during the summer and into the start of the school year with our coaching staff to get ready for this season. Adam- thank you for being an excellent leader this year and for all of your time and effort spent working on debate. I am proud of you!

Sam L	Mrs. D'Amico	Perseveres & Adapts	Sam experienced a major setback with his injury during his football season. However, he approached it with a resilient attitude. His role changed from being a key player on the field to a major supporter off the field . He was at all practices and games encouraging his teammates. Furthermore, he offered to tutor a teammate who needed help, which meant staying well after practice had ended.He definitely persevered through the season as well as adapted, in Minuteman fashion.
