Hello, RHS Class of 2027 and new students to Revere High School,

On Wednesday, August 16th, between 9:00-12:30, we have a fun day planned for you to learn more about our school, meet some of your classmates, discover more about all the activities that you can join, walk your schedule, find your locker, and a chance to ask any questions that you may have about the start of the school year. While it is not mandatory, parents/guardians are also invited to attend. We encourage all students to check on ProgressBook the days right before FroshFest and view their schedule. Paper copies with locker information will be given at the event. If you are your student have any questions or special needs regarding FroshFest, please contact the main office before the event.

Freshmen and new to RHS iPads

All returning to Revere freshmen and new to Revere students will be issued a new iPad, case, charger, and Apple Crayon. We want our students to have the technology tools they need for the beginning of the school year. The plan is to provide time at FroshFest and during the first day of school to make this happen. If you are a returning student, you must turn in your iPad, case, and two-part charger or you will be assessed a fee. Damaged equipment will be assessed, and an additional fee may be assigned. Two mass exchange days are planned: FroshFest and the first day of school. If you are absent on any of these days, we will set up individual times during the first week of school.

FroshFest - in RHS Media Center

8:00 - 8:45 - Before the opening assembly and registration

10:30 - 12:30 - During the building tours and activities fair

First Day of School - in Aux Gym

Student Schedule Release

Starting Monday, August 14th, student schedules will be viewable in ProgressBook. While students/families can request class changes before the start of school, not all requests will be able to be honored. Most of our course sections are at/near capacity, and we have limited flexibility to adjust schedules. Moves will be prioritized based on graduation needs and special circumstances. Please contact your student’s school counselor with any questions. Once the school year starts, class changes will require a meeting with the student, parent/guardian, teacher, counselor, and administrator approval before being considered.

Parking Pass Pick-Up

Starting Wednesday, August 16th, parking passes will be available for pick-up in the main office. The office will be CLOSED on the morning of Friday, August 18th, and the afternoon of Monday, August 21st, for district-wide training. Passes may be picked up during the first week of school if you cannot come in during those times.
