Commencement Date Finalized and FroshFest Parent Info

 Hello RHS Families,

Thank you to all of our student ambassadors, student council members, and volunteers for making all of our incoming freshmen, new-to-Revere students, and families feel welcome during FroshFest on Wednesday, August 16th. If you could not attend the Parent Information Session, I have attached a link to our FroshFest 2023-24 Presentation. 


After much discussion and careful consideration, we have finalized the date and location of our RHS Class of 2024 Commencement. Due to the uncertainty of the Lock 3 construction project, the timing of Memorial Day weekend, and the OHSSA Track & Field tournaments, we have decided that commencement will occur on Thursday, May 23rd, at 7:00 PM on the high school campus. Thank you all in advance for understanding our need to pivot so that we can celebrate our graduates with the least amount of obstacles.

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
