Caps, Gowns, and Commencement Tickets

Hello, families of the Revere Class of 2023!

Today, our soon-to-be graduates received their caps, gowns, and commencement tickets. Since we wanted all students to be able to participate in the graduation memory walks, we did not withhold caps, gowns, and tickets for any fees or iPads. Please check in your student’s bag to see if a fee letter was added. iPads, charging cords, iCrayons, and keyboards will be turned in at the Internship Presentation. We will also accept fee payments and missing technology or textbooks before Commencement Practice on Friday, June 2nd. If your student has not turned in their fees or materials by the end of the day on June 2nd, they will be issued an empty diploma jacket at commencement.

Each family was issued ten tickets. All tickets are General Admission. While the tickets have seat numbers, they are not your assigned seat. We will have a three-row gap between our graduates and general admission seating in the lower bowl (approximately six rows) and all of the Grand Tier available. The Revere Schools Foundation auctioned off a few Reserved Seats that will be taped off and off-limits, but all other seats first come, first served. If you do not need all of your ten tickets, please return them to the office or give them to families that need additional. We will have a limited number of additional tickets, so if you are not using them all, please get them back to us.

Parking will be available in four locations: Lot 24 - Central Hower Parking Lot (140 S. College St.), Lot 26 North Campus Parking Deck (255 E. Buchtel Ave.), Lot 27 - North Campus Parking Lot (225 S. Forge St.), and Lots 29 & 45 - Olsen/Lincoln Lots (200 S. Forge St.)

Students may decorate their caps, but any that are deemed not school appropriate will be confiscated and a blank cap issued. Remind students to label the inside of their caps to help in getting them back to their owner after the ceremony. There will be no organized recessional. Students will be dismissed directly to the lobby. All families are encouraged to meet their students outside in the front by the fountain.

Thank you,

Andy Peltz, Principal RHS
