 April 4, 2023 - 4th Quarter Important Dates and Information


The final quarter of the 2022-23 school year has begun! Our seniors have only 27 school days before the start of the Senior Internship period. Our freshmen, sophomores, and juniors have 43 days until the end of the year. We have so many events planned over the next two months that the time will surely fly by. I wanted to remind you of the major dates and events you want to circle on your calendars. 

April

Friday, April 7th - No School

Tuesday, April 11th - ELA II (10th Grade) End of Course Exam Part 1 (normal schedule, test in the AM for students taking the exam)

Wednesday, April 12th - ELA II (10th Grade) End of Course Exam Part 2 (normal schedule, test in the AM for students taking the exam)

Tuesday, April 18th - American History and Government End of Course Exams (normal schedule, test in the AM for students taking the Amer. History exam and PM for Gov.)

Wednesday, April 19th - Senior Citizen Brunch and Mamma Mia! Preview

Thursday, April 20th - Biology End of Course Exams (normal schedule, test in the AM for students taking the exam)

Tuesday, April 25th - Algebra I & Geometry End of Course Exams Part 1 (normal schedule, test in the AM for students taking the exam)

Wednesday, April 26th - Algebra I & Geometry End of Course Exams Part 2 (normal schedule, test in the AM for students taking the exam)

Thursday, April 27th - Class Day afternoon assembly

Friday, April 28th - No School - Teacher Inservice Day

May

May 1st - May 12th - AP Testing - Teachers will provide information on specific classes and exam times.

May 8th - May 11th - Revere Celebration of the Arts - Special Senior Citizens Day Wed. May 10th 11 am - 1:00 pm.

Saturday, May 13th - RHS Prom and Promendade

Monday, May 15th - Senior Internships begin

Wednesday, May 17th - PLC Day - Late start for all students. Classes begin at 8:34 AM.

Wednesday, May 24th - 8th Grade Transition Day and HS Visit

Friday, May 26th - Passing of the Scroll Assembly, Graduation Memory Walks, and Senior Picnic

Monday, May 29th - No School - Memorial Day

May 30th - June 1 - Senior Internship presentations

Wednesday, May 31st - Senior Awards and Scholarship Night

Friday, June 2 - Commencement Practice in RHS Aux Gym & 1st Day of Final Exams (schedule will be released soon)

Saturday, June 3 - RHS Graduating Class of 2023 Commencement at EJ Thomas Hall at 1:00 pm.

June 5 - 6 - 2nd and 3rd Days of Final Exams - End of the 4th quarter and 2nd semester

Wednesday, June 7th - Start of summer break!!!!

  Hello, Students and Families from the Revere High School Classes of 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027! I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer. While the building is relatively quiet now, the sounds of the band practicing and the coaches' whistles will fill the air in just a few weeks.   August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
