January Vision of a Minuteman Pancake Breakfast Nominees

Each month, our staff nominates students that go above and beyond to live up to the characteristics described in our Vision of a Minuteman statements. People cannot always control the situation that they are in, but they can shape their response to it. These RHS students have chosen to be Confident & Empathetic, to Persevere & Adapt, Communicate Truth, Engage with Purpose, have a Learner's Mindset, and to Create Solutions. I am so proud of our young adults who were nominated and I thank them for their efforts.

Kendall M	Mr. Schaefer	Creates Solutions	Kendall has been such a pleasure to have in class. She works hard and is a benefit to those around her by helping them better understand content. She has a great personality and always has creative thoughts that sparks conversations with me and those around her.
Charlie E	Mrs. Repp	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Charlie is a joy to have in class. He is always on task and engaged in the lesson. Charlie always participates in group discussions. Many students in geometry class are very quiet and don't participate, but I can always count on Charlie to volunteer. I appreciate his participation in class.
Khushali K	Mrs. Fagnilli	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Khushali is an absolute joy of a person! She is dedicated, intelligent, and hard-working every single day! Even though she is quiet, she has a tremendous sense of humor. I'm so very lucky to have her in class.
Ashley G	Mr. Getz	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Ashley finished the first semester with the highest grade in both of my Honors Algebra 2 classes. She earned a perfect score on our final exam. My favorite fact about Ashley is that she has not missed our class one time this year...perfect attendance! I'm not sure the average student realizes how much that helps them to succeed. Keep up the great work Ashley!
Annabelle Y	Mrs. Gillette	Demonstrates a Learner's Mindset	Annabelle strives for excellence in mathematics. She comes to class prepared every day with completed homework. Annabelle prepares thoughtful questions. She is a character role model. Annabelle works on all of the challenging math problems and helps others to understand them. When working in small groups, Annabelle works well with anyone, especially a struggling student. She is an asset in my classroom.

Raelyn P	Ms.Lyon	Embodies Confidence & Empathy	Raelyn you are a special young lady that is beautiful both inside and outside. Your smile is contagious, and it brightens any room you walk into.
Isabelle A	Mr. Rahas	Embodies Confidence & Empathy	Isabelle is a very confident and hard working young lady. She demonstrates strong leadership qualities on a daily basis.
Ella L	Mr. Cingle	Embodies Confidence & Empathy	Ella is an amazing student. Her work ethic is second to no one. Homework assignments are impeccable and based on her evaluations, she prepares for all evaluations. Ella has a great personality and shows an empathetic spirit. I enjoy having her in class.
Lily H	Mrs. Rion and Mrs. Mamula	Engages with Purpose	Lily is an incredible peer model to all students and continually thrives to make a positive impact on others through service.
Lucas T	Mrs. Mamula and Mrs.Rion	Engages with Purpose	Lucas is a dedicated peer model as he takes the lead in our group (Strong Teens) and demonstrates kindness and compassion with all of our students.
Michael G	Mrs. Rion and Mrs. Mamula	Engages with Purpose	Michael is consistently working towards the benefit of assisting others in any situation he faces. He demonstrates care, kindness, and consideration towards all students whenever they are in need.
Megan R	Mrs. Mamula and Mrs.Rion	Engages with Purpose	Megan is a wonderful peer model and engages with kindness and compassion during our Strong Teens meetings. She has dedicated her time and provides positive energy to our group.
Jack J	Mr. Pierson	Engages with Purpose	He is a talented and hard working young man who always chips in to help out with clean up .(even when the mess is made by others.)
Donovan F	Mrs. Repp	Engages with Purpose	Donovan has improved his work habits in geometry class. He is willing to come in before school to get help if he is confused and wants to do well. He participates in class discussions and is a very kind student. He is always respectful to all teachers and peers. I enjoy having Donovan in class and hope he continues to build his confidence.

Abigail C	Ms.Lyon	Perseveres & Adapts	Abigail has had to persevere and adapt throughout semester 1. Some decisions and choices were easily met, while others became a challenge. When Abigail was met with her final obstacle at the end of the semester, she had her idea of how it should look. However, her decision was not a good fit. In the end Abigail persevered and adapted one more time. Abigail I am so very proud of you and your decision. Mrs. Lyon
Bailey B	Mr. Cingle	Perseveres & Adapts	Bailey is an amazing young lady. Her work ethic is top notch, showing in her homework and evaluation scores. She is willing to ask questions during evaluations and shows an empathetic spirit to others. She is a pleasure to have in class.
Denys H	Mrs. Pine	Perseveres & Adapts	Denys has adapted so well to our 4th period ELA class despite the language barrier, is consistent with work, and an all-around dependable and reliable student. I can't imagine it's been easy to come in to a new environment, but he's persevering and adapting every day!
Adrian H	Mrs. Pine	Perseveres & Adapts	Adrian joined our 9th grade ELA class in the fall, and despite a language barrier has become one of the most consistent and reliable students in class. He shows a lot of skill with literature, and his responses are often insightful and well thought-out. He is a great presence in the classroom.
Jackson D	Mr. Kos	Perseveres & Adapts	Jackson has made great strides in English class from 1st quarter to 2nd quarter. His grade has drastically improved from his improved work ethic and attitude. Keep it going, Jackson, I see you!
