2nd Quarter RHS Dates

 Good morning Revere High School,

The first quarter has ended, our fall sports and activities are wrapping up, and the themes of homecoming and Halloween are being replaced with holiday decor. The months of November and December are broken up with assemblies, PLC Late Starts, Minutemen Time schedules, state-bound clapouts, holiday concerts, the fall play, CVCC sophomore visit, and so much more. Here is a brief list of important dates to keep you updated on all things RHS.

Wed, Nov. 2 - PLC Day - Freshmen and Sophomores report to the auditorium by 7:35. Late start for Juniors and Seniors. Classes begin at 8:34.

Tue, Nov. 8 - RHS has school, but CVCC does not. All CVCC students are expected to attend our classes. 

Wed, Nov. 9 - RHS PTSA Meeting 1:00 in our media center

Fri, Nov. 11 - Veterans’ Day Breakfast, assembly, and speaker. 

Tue, Nov. 15 - Sophomores visit CVCC; Revere School Board Meeting at 5:30 PM. We will be recognizing our 16 National Merit Scholars!

Wed, Nov. 16 - Senior Citizen Brunch and the start of the Fall Play. Shows on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Wed, Nov. 23 - Minutemen Time Schedule 

Thur, Nov. 24 - Mon, Nov. 28 - No School. Thanksgiving Break

Wed, Dec. 7 - PLC Day - Seniors are the only late arrival. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors report for class meetings. Classes start at 8:34. 

Mon, Dec. 19 - Start of CVCC Winter Break - CVCC students must report for RHS classes on Monday and Tuesday.

Wed, Dec. 21 - Start of Revere’s Winter Break

Wed, Jan. 4 - All classes resume

Wed, Jan. 11 - RHS PTSA Meeting 1:00 in our media center

Mon, Jan. 16 - No School - MLK Day

Tue, Jan 17 - Thur, Jan. 19 - RHS Semester Exams and end of the first semester/second quarter

Fri, Jan. 20 - No School - Teacher In-Service Day

  Hello, Students and Families from the Revere High School Classes of 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027! I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer. While the building is relatively quiet now, the sounds of the band practicing and the coaches' whistles will fill the air in just a few weeks. The 2023-24 school year is jammed packed with exciting events and opportunities for our students. I wanted to get you a few of the most critical dates so you can put them on your calendars. August 1st RHS Family Message

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
