PLC Day and Senior Sunrise Moved

 Good afternoon,

In observance of Yom Kippur, we are moving the Wednesday, October 5th, PLC Day, and Senior Sunrise to Thursday, October 6th. Additionally, we had a photographer scheduled to come in and take the Senior Class panoramic photo on the 5th. The 6th is unavailable, but we have rescheduled the Senior Class panoramic for Monday, October 10th, at 7:30 in the main gym. If you need, school picture retakes will also be available on Monday the 10th. I fully take ownership for this oversight of scheduling an event on an important holiday and ask forgiveness for any stress or inconvenience the original date or rescheduling has caused. 


In summary:

Regular School Day on Wednesday, October 5th

New PLC Day and Senior Sunrise on Thursday, October 6th. Seniors must report for a mandatory class meeting in the auditorium at 7:34. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors must report to 1st period by 8:34.

Senior Class Panoramic and Picture Retake on Monday, October 10th

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
