More Futures Day Speakers Needed

Thank you to the 30+ volunteers who are joining us for Futures Day on October 12th. In an effort to expose our students to a broader band of careers, we are grouping our volunteers into the various Career Clusters. Some career clusters have had more volunteers than others, and we could use a few more guests to round out the panels. If you or someone you know works in the fields of Arts & Communication, Technology/Management in Business, Industrial/Engineering, or Natural Resources & Agriculture, please consider volunteering your time. Please complete this survey  by Friday, September 23rd, to indicate your interest in being a panelist at  Revere High School’s Futures Day.  If you have any additional questions about Futures Day, please contact Principal Andrew Peltz at apeltz@revereschools.org  or Career Specialist Nancy Vondrak at nvondrak@revereschools.org or (330)523-3248.  Also, please feel free to share this information with anyone else whom you think may be interested in our Futures Day.

While the building is relatively quiet now, the sounds of the band practicing and the coaches' whistles will fill the air in just a few weeks.   August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
