Shoe Donation Drive

 Hello Parents and Families,

There will be a shoe drive going on from Monday, May 23 until Friday, May 27th.

Members of a local Girl Scout Troop are working on a service project along with girls from other

districts. The goal is to collect 2,500 pairs of gently worn or used shoes. The shoes will be sent

to an organization that helps families in developing countries start sustainable businesses and

provide for their families. The money the girls will receive for collecting these shoes goes

towards their summer trip, to earn badges that will allow them to start their gold award, the

highest award in Girl Scouts. The bins will be placed in the front hallway entrance of the school.

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
