RHS Important January Dates

 RE: Wednesday, January 12th Delayed Start PLC Day & Other Important Dates

Good afternoon,

I would like to remind you of the following important dates and associated changes to our schedule over the next few weeks. Please check-in with your student to ensure that all of their coursework is turned in before the end of the first semester.

  • Wednesday, Jan. 12 - Delayed start for all students. The staff will be working on finalizing semester exams. Classes start promptly at 8:34 am. Students will report to their Records Room for Exam Schedule and other information.

  • Monday, Jan. 17 - No school - MLK Day

  • Wednesday, Jan. 19 - Exam schedule (1st, 4th, and 7th period exams)

  • Thursday, Jan. 20 - Exam schedule (2nd & 5th period exams) 7:34 - 11:11. Students will be dismissed after exams.

  • Friday, Jan. 21 - Exam schedule (3rd & 6th period exams) 7:34 - 11:11. Students will be dismissed after exams. No CVCC classes

  • Monday, Jan. 24 - No school for students. Teacher in-service day. 

  • Wednesday, Feb. 2 - Delayed start for all students EXCEPT SENIORS. There will be a special Internship Presentation for our future graduates. Classes start promptly at 8:34 am.


Thank you to the families that have donated non-perishable breakfast snack supplies for exam week! Any additional donations will be greatly appreciated. Our Active Minds Club will be running some fun, de-stressing activities during the exam breaks and your snacks will be a great addition.

August 1st RHS Family Message

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
