Holiday Season Date Reminders

The snow on the ground this morning is a great reminder that the holiday season is quickly approaching. I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone about which days we have off and adjustments to our schedules from now until the start of winter break. If you do plan on taking additional vacation days, we encourage you to complete the Planned Absence Form so that our students will be able to keep up with their assignments. 


Tuesday, November 16 - Sophomore class trip to visit CVCC

Wednesday, November 17 - Late arrival for all students. Staff will attend their Professional Learning Committees (PLC). Classes start at 8:34 am.

Thursday, November 25 - Start of Thanksgiving Break. We have school on Wednesday, 11/24.

Monday, November 29 - No school. Classes resume Tuesday, November 30. 

Wednesday, December 1 - Minutemen Time Schedule. Regular start time.

Wednesday, December 8 - SENIORS ONLY Late arrival. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors report at normal time. PACT and PSAT scores will be passed out and the results will be explained. Classes start at 8:34 am.

Wednesday, December 15 - Minutemen Time Schedule. Regular start time.

Friday, December 17 - Last day of classes before winter break. No school from December 18 - January 2, 2022.

Monday, January 3 - Classes resume.

  August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
