Grief Support for the Revere Community

 Hello Revere Local School District Community,

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of our beloved teacher, Mr. Richard Booth, a grade 3 teacher at Bath Elementary School.  Mr. Booth passed away on August 4th following an illness this summer.

We are beginning to receive requests from families seeking support for their children, family, and friends.  If you are talking about death and grief with your children, here are some resources that may be helpful.  Please click on the links below and the documents attached.

While the building is relatively quiet now, the sounds of the band practicing and the coaches' whistles will fill the air in just a few weeks.   August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
