RHS Semester Exam Information

 During the days of June 7-10 2022, Revere High School will have an adjusted schedule for semester exams. The semester letter grade is an aggregate score of each quarter grade (40% each) and an exam/project (20%). The majority of the courses will have a traditional exam that must be taken during the scheduled session, but due to the nature and structure of some courses, a project or alternative assignment may be required instead. The staff of RHS recognizes the importance of these exams and projects and does not want our students to be overwhelmed by too many exams or due dates on the same day. Therefore, we will follow this schedule.

Students are required to attend each exam during the period assigned unless they are preapproved by the instructor to take the exam during the make-up sessions. Transportation will still be provided in the morning and at 2:37 pm, but early release students must have their own transportation. A limited lunch menu will be offered for students who remain on campus. Attendance will be taken each period. If a student was expected to attend and is absent, the school will call home. If no exam is scheduled or a student has a study hall period, they do not need to report. No additional permission slip is required during the second semester exam week.   August 1, 2023 Happy August, Revere High School!!! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year. We have so many amazing opportunities planned for our students and families. On June 28th, I emailed a list of important dates and general information regarding events that kick off the school year. If you are new to us or have misplaced the email, you can always find my parent/family communication archived at https://minutemenprincipal.blogspot.com/ As families are starting to prepare for the first day of school, buying supplies, and shopping for clothes, I want to share with you a few things. Drawstring bags are allowed in class, but backpacks are not - Revere High School is growing in numbers, and space is at a premium. Since many of our classes will be near capacity, there is not enough space for students to bring large, bulky bags to each class. Students may use a drawstring bag to help keep items organized, but they will be encouraged to keep most of their supplies in their locker
